Performing Arts includes: Drama, Music and Dance.
Students are involved in activities that build confidence and self-esteem to take risks and challenge their own thinking. They develop skills in listening, improvising, composing, interpreting and performing with intent and purpose. Through dance students become aware of their own bodies and technical and expressive skills to communicate through movement.
Every child attends a 1 hour session of Performing Arts
This year the talented Miss Carr is directing our music group Local Vocal. Students from grades 3-6 can participate. Local Vocal this year will be visiting local venues, such as the Kinder, RSL, community groups to perform. They will continue to also perform at Assembly on a Friday.
